We have a new endeavor and we need your help. We need one time or montly funding gifts.

Those with Parkinson’s have many special needs most of the world is totally unaware of… and one of the major needs is a way to properly identify the FACT they have Parkinson's. Parkinson's is often not properly and quickly identified during the first moments of emergency or even a routine traffic stop and this can create major issues! First Respondent events can turn into disasters. Sadly, First Responders are not trained in Parkinson's Awareness and or assessment.

For those with Parkinson’s, their reactions to stress and separation from an “essential” caregiver play a role in their “current state of mind”! The signals those with Parkinson’s give out are symptoms that are frequently misread by those accessing them. Traffic stops can lead to arrest as the office deems the person drunk or on drugs. Believe it or not, even doctors, nurses, and hospitals are not trained in the nuances of Parkinson’s in emergency situations and this can create a disaster. First Responders are not trained in how to recognize a person with Parkinson’s, must less in how to work with those special needs!

What seems to be a simple ID can help change the lives of those with Parkinson’s. The current offerings of such items now on the market, we will say, is almost a joke! We are out to rectify this! These identification needs are better explained below. We need an ID card for those with Parkinson’s but also one for their caregiver!

The newest statics show 90,000 people diagnosed with Parkinson’s every year in the United States, this is up from the 50,000 per year previously reported. Our job, our business, our life, and our passion are to help find ways to make sure these folks have informed care and protection.

We are desperately working to fill this void but we need a special printer, a special program, and training, and products to do so. To get this off the ground floor a minimum of $3,500.00 is needed. Again, what seems to be a simple ID can help change the lives of those with Parkinson’s, the current offerings of such items now on the market, we will say, are almost a joke!  We are out to rectify this! Caregiversloads are increased due to a lack of proper identification for their guys or loved ones with Parkinson’s. This must change this and can only be done with the support of family, friends, and Parkinson’s allies!

With time, we will offer an ID Card for caregivers to carry also. These cards would state there is someone at home who is dependant on them! Many of those in advanced stages of Parkinson’s can only be left alone for a very short time… and that means SHORT! In the case of an accident involving the caregiver, authorities need to know this fact to disperse someone to the home or call a listed contact!

We is hoping to reach this goal to purchase equiptment to allow us to offer Medical Alert ID Cards with all info printed on to a permanate card, not laminated. We need your support and support can also come in the form of the simple act of sharing this fundraiser with your family and friends. Together we can change the lives of many! EVERY DOLLAR COUNTS!
